Today my family went to Pine View Reservoir and took our boat out. This was a great outing for us cause EVERYBODY was able to go, and thats weird for us. It was tons of fun, but I'm freaking toasted. As white as I was before I'm now red instead. All of us seemed to have gotten burnt even though we put on tons of sun screen.
That's Josh swimming in the lake. That kid is a freaking fish!
Jaxon driving the boat and picking his nose. For some reason almost every time I tried to take this picture his finger went straight for the nose. Weird.
However he did give me one big smile. :) Little monster!
This is Josh riding in the tube. 4 years old and braver then me, I would never let myself be pulled behind a boat!
Thats our boat, and it has been fun having it although I haven't really been out on it all that much. Today was probably the first time in two years. So even though I have a wicked bad sun burn, and by the way I DID use sun screen many times, it was totally worth it. Hopefully I'll be able to go out one more time before the season is over. With my new schedule that just might be possible. I think I spent more time with my family this weekend then I have in the last three months, and it was great. I highly reccomend it!

John Edward
Today my parents and I went to see John Edward at Capitol Theatre. For those of you who have never heard of him, John Edward is a psychic who can communicate with the dead. Crazy I know but when you see him at one of these shows its hard not to believe that it's all true and honestly feels better to believe in it. If you ever get a chance to see one of his shows or read one of his books you should.

Rockers Reunion 2008
On August 2nd my family held their annual family reunion. This year was my moms sides turn to hold it, and my family decided to do a 50's theme.

I was freaking out being up on those chairs! I hate heights, even standing on a chair freaks me out.
We got to the hall at about 7:45 that morning to begin setting up for the afternoon. We started by setting up the tables and chairs and then we began hangging records and streamers from the ceiling. By the time we were done it looked great!

With as many kids as there always are you have to have games to keep them occupied. We had a balloon dart board, ring toss, musical chairs, a tug of war, and a water balloon fight (it was freaking HOT!).

After games it was time for food. We had hamburgers and hotdogs, and of course with it being so hot out we had ice cream delivered by our lovely "waitresses", my cousins, aren't they CUTE! :)
Uncle's Jim, Matt, and Jerry. Three of my moms brothers. Missing is Andy, he was there just didn't get a picture.
Uncle Marlin, married to my Aunt Joan my mom's oldest sibling, and cousin Stacie. Dylan off to the side.
Cousins Jessie, Garrett (his mom married my Uncle Matt), and Chad. Chad married Stacie in March. Congrats you two!

Papa Ray! My moms dad.
The part I love the best is being able to see all my family! I don't get this kind of oppurtunity very often and I was thrilled to have been able to make it back for this reunion. I have 16 first cousins and about 20 second cousins, and I can finally name all my first cousins! Their kids are going to take some time, there are just too many of them!
