Here's my House

So I've lived in Farmington since November of 07 and I finally have some pictures to show.

This is the front of the house, we've got a three car garage so you can't quite see all the way to the west of the house. We got our grass done for the back yard this month.

Here's the downstairs living room. My mom finally got all the decorations the way she wants them.

This is the kitchen which is right off the living room. The whole room is open, like one big room. The dining area is just off the left of the counter.

This is the bonus room thats above the garage. Really cool room, all big and open.

And now for the best room in the house.

This is my room coming in from the door and thats my bed.

There you can see from another angle where my dresser and all my movies are. And yes I finally got a new TV that actually works well.

So thats most of my house, it's been alot of fun being here. Sometimes I think of the old Bountiful house and I miss it but it's been really great being here. We are finally getting some new neighbors. We were the only people living in our subdivison for about six months but theres about five other families now and more homes are being built. So there ya go thats my house! :)

Grandpa's Birthday

We were finally able to make a trip back home to Kansas in January for my grandpa's birthday. This was the first time we had been back in almost four years and it was really nice to see all my family again. My nephews, Josh and Jaxon, had so much fun. All Josh talked about for like the next two weeks was being on papa Ray's farm and playing with the cool guy (Uncle Jerry).

Josh, 4, got to sit in all the tractors and he even got to drive the Gator. If that isn't the coolest thing in the world for a 4 yr old I don't know what is.

This was grandpa's 80th birthday and to be compeltly truthful he would rather have spent it at home in his recliner watching the game, but we had a party for him. And as we all know things don't always go as we plan. 15 minutes before we were set to leave for the hall the only toilet in the house began to back-up and it was decided to take it outside and clean it. Maybe not the best idea, becasue once they took it off the discovered how difficult it would be to put it back on. And yes they were spraying it out with a garden hose on the front yard:). This was one of the funniest things in the world to watch and I only wish I had video taped it. America's Funniest Home Videos has nothing on this! Luckily for us the one holding the hose is a plumber and knew what he was doing, hopefully :) Finally it was decided to simply get them a new toilet and not mess around with this really really old one any more. With as much excitment as there was that morning, we did finally get to the banquet hall for the birthday party.

So once we FINALLY got there it was time for cake, for what would a party be without cake. And of course all the people who come to wish you well. It's funny I had a bunch of people come up to me and say you're Angie's daughter and I say yea, but in my head I'm thinking 'and who the hell are you'. Sadly I don't know alot of my family, there are just to many of them and I'm not there nearly enough to know who they are. But altogether it was a really fun weekend and it was great to be able to see all my family after so long.
And of course what would a party be without the stripper! Jaxon--->
Ahhh they learn so young.

Band Trip 2007

In 2007 we went on our annual band trip to Annehiem Cailfornia. Since it was early March we were all happy to get away from Utah's bitter cold winter, and by March it was still way cold, and into California's beautiful sunny weather.

Our day at the beach was perfect, if not a little bit windy and the water a little bit cold, but lets face it this is the Pacific we're talking about, it's always cold. So this was day 1 in California, spent riding in a bus, boring, cramped, and smelly, and the second half playin in the sand and water.

That night we went to Medeival Times, which if you are ever in the area you should totally go cause it is so much fun you get to see people fight and they give you tons of food.
The next day was time for DISNEY LAND! We
went on the perfect day, there weren't very many people there so there weren't any lines for anything. The only ride we had a long wait for was Space Mountain but that one is always busy. We all had such a great time and we had a tendency to draw attention to ourselves, because, lets face it, we're band geeks and we're loud band geeks, not to mention the 60 or so of us that were there how could we not draw attention.

And I'm sorry to say that try as we might we could not yank that sword from the stone. :(
As much fun as vacations are they all must come to an end. And all to soon it was time to get on the bus and begin the all night journey back to utah on our boring, cramped, and smelly bus. But all together one of the funnest trips I've been on!
